“Make it in Munich” is Munich’s official website for qualified professionals and young talents from abroad. It guides third-country nationals (non-EU / non-EFTA countries) who are still abroad in your planned and legal migration to Munich. We offer free online consultations, German and IT courses to help you prepare for your career and integrate into Munich – even before you arrive.
Applicants who are in the process of obtaining a Work Visa, EU Blue Card, Family Reunion Visa, Vocational Training Visa, Visa for Purpose of Seeking a Vocational Training Place, Language Visa or Opportunity Card are able to apply.
All of our participants can choose the services that best suit their needs and goals. Our team will guide you to the most suitable options for your personal journey.
Please note that you can benefit from either online German courses or Digital & IT courses at the same time. However, you are free to join a seminar or consultation at any time.

No, German courses are offered at different levels, from A1 to C1, to accommodate participants with different language skills.
Participants need a stable Internet connection and a device (computer, laptop or tablet) with a camera and microphone for video calls. Basic computer skills are an advantage. You cannot participate in the German courses if you only have a smartphone.
We provide general information about the different types of visas and their requirements. However, we do not offer legal support for participants’ ongoing visa processes.
